Lab safety<\/b> in a necessity because Laboratories are delicate places. Carelessness in there can cause serious accidents.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The two most important words to remember when working in a lab are \u201c<\/span>Be CAUTIOUS <\/b>and <\/span>LABORATORY WORK DONE WITHOUT ENOUGH CARE TURNS TO BE UNWORTHY<\/b>\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

–          <\/span><\/span><\/span>Familiarity with materials and equipment being used is important<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

–          <\/span><\/span><\/span>Safety equipment like fire extinguishers<\/span> <\/span>and first aid kits must be placed where they can be easily located and picked for use in case of accidents<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

–          <\/span><\/span><\/span>Ignorance and negligence are two of the major causes of accidents in the laboratory<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

–          <\/span><\/span><\/span>Follow the instructions given to you and do all your experiments with utmost precautions<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
