At number 10, we have the University of Cape Town in South Africa. Known for its excellence in research, UCT has been a consistent presence in global rankings. Moving up the ladder, we have the University of Witwatersrand, also in South Africa, renowned for its diverse academic programs and strong industry connections. In the 8th spot, it&#8217;s the American University in Cairo, a hub for interdisciplinary studies and cultural exchange. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The University of Nairobi in Kenya secures the 7th position, with its vibrant campus and commitment to community engagement. At number 6, we have Stellenbosch University, a leading research institution in South Africa. The top 5 universities in Africa, in ascending order, are: the University of Pretoria, the University of Johannesburg, the <a href=\"https:\/\/ww1.ukzn.ac.za\/\">University of KwaZulu-Natal<\/a>, the University of the Western Cape, and the University of the Witwatersrand.
